All Las Vegas nightclubs have strict and highly enforced dress code policies that all party-goers must follow whether they have a table reservation, are on the guest list, or have tickets. The guidelines can seem overwhelming, but luckily, almost every club has the same policies. Females can usually get by with anything as long as it looks like they tried. On the other hand, Males are held to a much higher standard.
I’m providing you with everything you need to know about Las Vegas dress code policies!
Females
Let’s start with the ladies! Like I previously said, if you look like you tried, you will get in. However, I recommend wearing a dress that fits your body nicely. A romper or a fashion top with jeans or a skirt will work as well. Women are not required to wear heels, but it is recommended. However, a great second shoe option would be sandals with a clasp around the ankle or boots in the winter. Finally, females should wear jewelry and carry a small purse or clutch.
Las Vegas nightclubs will not let females in wearing the following:
- Yoga Pants
- Athletic Attire (Spandex, Sports Bras, Running Shorts)
- Loose or Baggy Fit Clothing
- Overly Revealing Clothing
- Flip Flops or Pool Shoes
- Sneakers
- Sports Hats or Sun Hats
- Work Boots
- Backpacks
- Large Purses
Males
Now time for the men! Without a doubt, males must follow the dress code guidelines to the T. Males should wear a collared shirt or simple t-shit with no large prints paired with slacks or dark wash jeans. In addition, they should wear boat shoes/canvas shoes, dress shoes, cowboy boots, or nice and trendy sneakers (i.e., Nike Airforce 1).
Las Vegas nightclubs will not let males in wearing the following:
- Athletic Clothing or Lounge Clothing (Sweat Pants, Basket Ball Shorts, Tank Tops)
- Baggy Jeans
- Capris
- Shorts
- Wife Beater Tank
- Jerseys
- Tennis Shoes
- Flip Flops or Pool Shoes
- Work Boots
- Athletic Shoes
- Bennies
- Sports hats
- Backpacks
If males and females want to ensure entry into a nightclub, do not wear any of the following items listed. With that being said, just because it is not allowed doesn’t mean you won’t see someone wearing it inside the club. Locals, friends of staff, and table customers can sometimes get away with more than tourists. So don’t take offense to it; just follow the rules for an easy and fun night!
